Once again I had the wonderful opportunity to participate in the Great Circus Parade. This parade the 3rd largest in the country behind the Macys Thanksgiving Day Parade and the Rose Bowl Parade is by far the most unique. The entire parade is powered only by horses, we use draft horses to pull the wagons and various riding horses for mounted units. once again David SaLoutos did a fantastic job organizing and putting together the parade! lets see if we can do it again in a couple years!!!!!!
This shot is of the wardrobe department, this carriage is Cinderella from Ringling Bros Circus. The museum staff restored this beautiful carriage and we used it with some very cute little ponies in the parade.
Fantastic view of part of the grounds with the beautiful Big Top for the Kelly Miller Circus.
This fantastic builder of costumes came down to help us out this year and also be one of the featured clowns in the parade. Tricia Manuel from Maple Lake Minnesota is well known for her first class clown costumes and innovative clown school. Try going to http://www.mooseburger.com/camp/index.html To check out this wonderful professional school for clowns.

I think it was Saturday morning and someone said we needed some wagon banners for the United We Stand wagon. We did not have the right amount of flags so Trish set to work making some beautiful Red, White & Blue banners.
Fantastic Clowns From the Parade! Lets see how good you are at filling me in on names? Send your replies to chris@crcircus.com
This is Katie, Fred's Daughter giving us a hand with uniforms. I don't think I would want to be in the wrong uniform if she was looking for it!
Trish with me just before the parade. The clowns all meet in a tent before the parade to get an update and go over the rules for the parade. I was on my way to the start of the parade to help put them all on the streets of Milwaukee!
